Continuous Wave (CW) Lasers
IPG offers a wide variety of continuous wave (CW) fiber lasers that can be integrated into laser systems, ranging in power from 10 W to tens of kilowatts. The main use of CW lasers is to keep the beam on for long periods of time for continuous processing. However, if desired, IPG CW lasers can also be modulated at frequencies from a few kHz to tens of kHz to provide pulsed laser processing in the millisecond to microsecond pulse duration range.
